Mind Reset ("the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our Service to publish breathing exercise videos to TikTok.

2. Information We Collect

When you connect your TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit, we access the following information via the user.info.basic scope:

We do not collect your TikTok password, email address, phone number, follower lists, private messages, or any content from your TikTok account.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used solely to:

  • Authenticate your TikTok account for video publishing
  • Upload and publish breathing exercise videos to your account via the Content Posting API (video.upload, video.publish scopes)
  • Read aggregate performance metrics (view, like, comment and share counts) of videos published through the Service via the Display API (video.list scope) to measure and improve content
  • Display your connected account status within the Service

4. Data Storage & Security

Access tokens and refresh tokens obtained through TikTok OAuth are stored as encrypted secrets in our deployment environment (GitHub Actions / Vercel). They are never:

  • Exposed in client-side code or public URLs
  • Shared with third parties
  • Stored in plain text
  • Used for any purpose other than video publishing

5. Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with TikTok's APIs exclusively for content publishing. We do not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or data broker services. No personal data is shared with or sold to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your TikTok Open ID and access tokens only for as long as your account is connected to the Service. When you revoke access (via TikTok settings → Manage app permissions), all stored tokens are invalidated and no longer functional.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The Service does not use cookies, analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or any other tracking technologies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke the Service's access to your TikTok account at any time
  • Request information about what data we store (contact us via GitHub)
  • Request deletion of any stored data associated with your account

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
